Barrels include those previously used for aging brandy, Buffalo Trace Whiskey, and Four Roses Single Barrel among others; there are eleven barrel-types used in all.

Folk Brewing Company

FOLK Kombucha is ‘The Original Lake Tahoe Kombucha’. Their brewery is located at Lake Tahoe, a majestic setting for a company guided and surrounded by Nature’s essential wisdom. The water is sourced from Lake Tahoe, the largest freshwater lake in the Sierra Nevada and one of the three clearest alpine lakes in the world. Each recipe starts with a pure blend of pure Lake Tahoe water, organic teas and organic real cane sugar. To this we add some Mother-powered Love in the form of a SCOBY, a touch of brewer mojo, and yet more Love and Gratitude. Carefully selected flower essences and culinary and medicinal herbs impart an ancient, energetic DNA to create a harmonic convergence of flavor, nutrition and higher consciousness. The result is a sparkling, naturally fermented, probiotic beverage that not only quenches the thirst but also delivers a delicious, healthful alternative to conventional sodas

Lake Tahoe AleworX

Lake Tahoe AleWorX unites lake lovers with fans of craft beer, and bridge the gap between breweries on Tahoe's north and south shores. There are lots of beers on tap with LED screen to tell you about each beer. Have a few wines on tap also with bottles if you're not a beer drinker. The establishment will also feature a create-your-own woodfire pizza station that gives customers the option to choose from over 30 fresh ingredients. Try The Nutella Banana Calzone for dessert. They’re known for their California Common brewed by Lake Tahoe Aleworx as a Lager - American Light style beer and their BRETTED Belgian pale. Bring a sweater, they leave the front door open, which creates an open, fresh air atmosphere but can make it a bit chilly.

Sidellis Lake Tahoe Brewery & Restaurant

Tucked away amidst government buildings and between residential streets on Sandy Way is a gem specifically designed by and for Tahoe residents that only the most adventurous beer-hunting tourist will locate. Their concept ¬— small operation, open seating, rustic feel, and family-like staff — offers locals a distinctly "Tahoe" place to come in and take a load off. Tourists are, of course, welcome but just tricky to find behind Bank of America.

South Lake Brewing Company

South Lake Brewing is the home of Tahoe's newest craft brewery. With plenty of different styles on the tap rotation, SLBC boasts the largest beer production facility in South Lake Tahoe. Grab a few pints in the taproom and you're sure to have a great time with friends and meet some new ones. Their located in South Lake Tahoe at Heavenly Village, just a short walk from the casinos at Stateline on the way to the Gondola. You’ll want to try their Forest Floor Burger.

Tahoe Mountain Brewing Company

A little off the beaten path in the Town of Truckee, there’s a brewery with a taproom serving up fresh beer and small batches of barrel aged ales. Experimentation in their brewhouse and barrel-aging cellar is written into the fabric of what they do. With respect to tradition and age-old methods, they blend modern science, the best ingredients, creativity and spontaneity for a wide range of fine ales. Their Brewery and Taproom is open to the public and the best place to find the best selection of our beer.
